Meet Katie

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Katie, and I’m a newlywed learning what it means to build a Christ-centered home—not just in the big moments, but in the quiet, everyday ones. I believe God’s presence isn’t reserved for Sunday mornings or mountaintop experiences. He is here in the sound of a kettle boiling, in the folding of laundry, in the steady rhythm of making a home.

The Quiet Vine was born out of a longing to see God in the ordinary and to help others do the same. Here, I share encouragement, practical homemaking tips, intentional living practices, and faith-centered resources that draw our eyes back to Him. My hope is that each post and printable becomes a little reminder that our daily routines can be sacred ground.

In John 15, Jesus calls us to abide in Him as the vine—because apart from Him, we can do nothing. My prayer is that this space becomes a gentle nudge to remain rooted in His Word and His love, no matter what season you’re in.
